Kyah Resources is a leader in the Northwest in equipment-based project work:

  • Experienced at timber harvesting, clearing, right of way grading, stripping, building or laydown sites, construction of heli-pads, and other similar works.
  • Builds road through challenging mountainous terrain. This includes drilling, blasting, excavation, filling, surfacing, grading, compacting, re-surfacing and bridge installation.
  • Provides basic civil services to construct laydown yards, building sites, camp pads, and similar industrial platforms.
  • Brings project management and construction services to oil and gas, mining, forestry, and utilities project proponents in Northwest B.C.

We take pride in safe, responsible management.  Kyah Resources employs permanent, qualified project management, safety and administrative personnel. This allows us to also provide in-house onboarding and site-specific training.

We fully own heavy equipment for timber harvesting and civil construction, ready for a variety of equipment-based work. These assets build equity for Witset First Nation. In contrast to many contractors who may provide a percentage “profit share," to communities, Kyah Resources is a 100% Indigenous-owned, community based company. Witset First Nation is an equal shareholder in Kyah Resources, its equity and profits.

Together, we continue to build our asset base and local skills capacity to complete future projects and create economic opportunities for our community members.
